If you’re worried that you haven’t saved enough for retirement, you are not alone. The results of a recent survey published by the Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies noted the average household retirement savings for baby boomers was only $144,000.
The estimated median retirement savings for Generation X was about $64,000. Millennials were reported to have accumulated even less, only $23,000 in retirement savings.
