What makes these FIRE blogger Christmas music videos so funny that you never want to miss one?  Well, I admit, you may need to be on the path to FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) to have come across them.  Or, if you got a late start at saving for retirement, like I did, maybe you’d have to be on the path to FI (Financial Independence) to have found them.

Whatever the case, these FIRE Blogger Christmas music videos are hilarious, and I wanted to share them with you during Blogmas.

If the characters and concepts are new to you, check out the links provided to learn more about how you can get out of debt, invest in your future, and live the life you dream of. You can even catch-up retirement savings after a late start.  It’s possible!

The FIRE Blogger Christmas Music Videos

“The 12 Days of FI”

Last year, a FIRE blogger collaboration occurred, resulting in an amusing new version of “The 12 Days of Christmas” unlike any version you’ve heard before!  The brainchild of Scott from I Dream of FIRE, along with help from Budget Epicurean (vocals) and My Sons Father (visuals); this FIRE blogger Christmas music video is rich in not-so-subtle satire as it pokes fun of some of the biggest names in the personal finance blogosphere.

The teasing is affectionately lighthearted, though, because the message of each of these personal finance stars rings true.  Check them out via the links below and see how their words of wisdom can help you reach financial independence.

Final Thoughts on the FIRE Blogger Christmas Music Videos

I hope you enjoyed these very creative FIRE blogger Christmas music videos.  Perhaps they’ve inspired you to learn more about financial independence.  At this time next year, there will most likely be a new edition to watch.

In the next twelve months, what steps will you take to turn your finances around?  After all, you could be one year older next year, or one year older and debt free.  Or one year older with a new ROTH IRA started.  Or maybe one year older with more money in your retirement account!

Have you heard of the FIRE movement?

  1. Interesting post, I haven’t really heard much or the FIRE movement. But admittedly I don’t have any retirement plans at the moment and am semi-nomadic. Interesting though as I definitely am thinking about the future.

    1. Thanks, Jen!
One of the neat things about the FIRE movement is that many of the FIRE bloggers who have retired early are also living a nomadic life – traveling the globe. Like my friends, Kristy & Bryce of Millennial Revolution https://www.millennial-revolution.com/start-here/
While I’m still working to catch up my retirement savings, I’m trying to balance it out with two or three big trips each year. This past October, we were in Copenhagen and Greece. Once I retire, I’d like to travel more.

  2. Nice list. I just start listening to Afford Anything’s podcasts after listening to the Susan Orman interview and Mr. Money Moustache I like reading just for fact he is an excellent writer.
